MEET THE FOUNDERS
Yvette & Reginald Anderson
Yvette Anderson is a retired from the Social Security Administration. She has been active in various communities throughout NJ for almost 20 years before co founding MTN in 2010. Helping others has always been a huge passion of hers. As child she was a family in need and her grandparents instilled in her to always help anyone she could. Their influence never left her and Yvette dedicated her life to mentoring, coaching, being instrumental in computer donations to low budget schools and churches, starting a free cheer clinic for inner city girls who couldn’t afford gymnastic or cheer camps, directing a girls book club and now founding a non profit that brings 9 projects of promise and free food pantry each week.
Spouse Reggie Anderson works for Comcast/NBC as a Senior Director of IT. He too has spent almost 20 years giving back to his community by running several basketball programs, coaching, mentoring and speaking to various at risk youth about careers in information technology. He also founded the MTN Race For Rewards Cycling Program which provides underprivileged kids the opportunity to have a professional mentor while learning to cycle.
Together this dynamic duo pours their heart and soul into enriching the lives of others through their projects of promise and the free weekly food pantry. Each year they make sure children in safe houses/shelters, with special needs and who are economically disadvantaged have back to school supplies, toys during the holiday and educational programs to encourage them in reading, writing and giving back to their community. Together they give the homeless care packages consisting of warm clothing, toiletries and food. Their service mission knows no bounds and they are constantly adding to the vision they have for MTN's transformation center where those in need receive the tools and resources needed toward a better way of life
