MTN Partners with Comcast/NBC for their Annual Comcast Cares Day.  MTN selects a project for Earth Day that will benefit and enrich a community.  It is a celebration of commitment to giving back.  In 2018 we were able to create a Sensory and Science Garden for children with special needs at 2 elementary schools with low school budgets in Eatontown, NJ.  Our two sites had almost 200 volunteers combined.  It was a great day of family fun installing/painting a fence, planting a vegetable garden in raised flower beds,  Providing touch and sensory toys for play, creating seating areas,  setting up sand and water tables just to name a few.  In 2019 we built a Life Skills Program for Special Needs High School Students in Irvington, NJ. They now have a state of the art classroom with kitchen, laundry facilities, living room and computer area. They also have an outside area we built to grow vegetables. The garden is beautiful and has a seating area. Volunteers were supplied with all the tools needed to make the day a huge success.  Each year we will select a different community and project.
